Description

A fun way for students to get hands on practice building flat shapes. Students are given opportunities to build shapes using different materials- playdough, popsicle sticks, cotton balls, wiki sticks, math manipulatives, etc! My class loves the freedom to make the shapes using different materials!

This center practices shape identification and composing shapes that do not look exactly the same.

This center aligns to Common Core Standards: K.G.1, K.G.2 and K.G.5.
