Students will be able to build basic two dimensional shapes either using popsicle sticks, playdough, pom poms, or any manipulative the teacher would like to use. After the shape is built, students can trace the shape, and lastly draw it on their own!

Identify shapes as two-dimensional (lying in a plane, “flat”) or three-dimensional (“solid”).
Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size.
