Students will have fun exploring 2D geometry games while identifying regular and irregular shapes and their properties: “Let’s Play Shape” and “Shape Concentration”. The “Let’s Play Shape” game involves rolling a number cube or drawing cards with the number 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8. The first player to cover a line vertically, horizontally or diagonally is declared the winner. “Shape Concentration” is a game with 2 variations. One is a shape or a picture and shape word match. The second variation is a picture of a shape and a shape properties match. Cards are available using the following properties: Variation 1 is edges and vertices. Variation 2 is sides and points.
