This pack includes the cutest shape posters, perfect for hanging on your wall or making a mobile. Included is one shape to a page, keep as posters or use to create a mobile. All posters have the shape name, number of sides and corners/vertices.

Shapes included in this pack are:

  • Circle
  • Oval
  • Triangle
  • Rectangle
  • Parallelogram
  • Square
  • Rhombus
  • Trapezium & Trapezoid
  • Pentagon
  • Hexagon
  • Heptagon
  • Octagon
  • Nonagon
  • Decagon
  • Dodecagon
  • Star (for the bottom of the mobile)

Each shape is labeled with it's name, number of sides and number of corners. This set has also been duplicated to include a set of shapes with the terms "sides and vertices" used.

The pack is duplicated with TWO different FONTS.

How to Use:

Print the mobile topper, then the shapes you would like to use. Laminate for durability. Punch a hole in the top and the bottom of each shape and join together using hinged rings. Continue adding shapes until you have all the shapes you want. Hang on display in your classroom.

PLEASE NOTE: When you go through the shapes, you will notice some shapes don’t have a face. The reason for this is that shape was not included in the clipart set and I made the shape myself. To represent the work of Kristen Walsky I did not continue to put the face on the shapes I created.

Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size.
Analyze and compare two- and three-dimensional shapes, in different sizes and orientations, using informal language to describe their similarities, differences, parts (e.g., number of sides and vertices/“corners”) and other attributes (e.g., having sides of equal length).
Distinguish between defining attributes (e.g., triangles are closed and three-sided) versus non-defining attributes (e.g., color, orientation, overall size); build and draw shapes to possess defining attributes.
Compose two-dimensional shapes (rectangles, squares, trapezoids, triangles, half-circles, and quarter-circles) or three-dimensional shapes (cubes, right rectangular prisms, right circular cones, and right circular cylinders) to create a composite shape, and compose new shapes from the composite shape.
