Product Description
-This game helps students to develop their visual discrimination skills as it reinforces 2D shapes & color recognition. Students also develop their cognitive processing, expressive vocabulary, and listening skills as they engage in game-play.

- This packet contains 1 version of each tiered 2D Shape & Color grid for differentiated instruction.

- This game is best played in a small group setting with 4-6 students on the same instructional level.

- To Play: Print and laminate as many of the leveled grids as needed. Cut out & laminate the cover cards or use counters. Each student gets one grid and one set of cover cards or counters. This game works best if all students playing have the same leveled grid. Students should not be able to see each others’ grids. Using file folders as walls works well. Students take turns describing a 2D shape to their peers. Once identified, students cover that square and play continues until all squares are covered by identifying the 2D shape through verbal clues. All students should "end" the game at the same time having covered all the squares on the grid.

-2D Shapes included:
Circle, Rhombus, Square, Rectangle, Triangle, Hexagon, Heart, and Oval

There is a "2D Shape and Color Bingo Game" available in my TpT store that offers 6 variations of each of the 3-tiered leveled bingo grids for differentiated small groups to play independently or with a teacher. Be sure to check it out!
