2D Shapes Math Craft, 2D Shape Project

This 2D shape math project is a fun and engaging activity to have your students practice identifying and naming 2D shapes.

2nd Grade - Common Core Standard Aligned: 2.G.A.1 Reason with Shapes and their Attributes

Students will cut and paste from a variety of sizes and shapes (aligned with 2.G.A.1) to make a shape creation. Then students will identify the shapes that they have used for their 2D shape math project.

This 2D Shape Math Craft will help students work with 2D shapes, identify the names of shapes by counting the sides or angels. This 2D Shape Project allows students to use their imagination while creating something out of the 2D shapes they are learning about.
