This is a set of fun black and white printables which will enable your students to practise naming, locating, drawing and counting 2D shapes in a robot theme. It also provides fine motor and counting practise through tracing and cutting. They may like to design their own robot either by drawing the required amount of shapes or by cutting out the shapes provided!
The 5 different activities included are:
pg 3 - 9 *2D Shape Hunt: find and trace the shapes using the given colors in the key at the top of each page. Count and record each shape
pg 10 - 14 * My Robot: draw your own robot using the given shapes and amounts (you can add in extra shapes if you choose!)
pg 15 - 18 *Draw a 'bot: finish robots that have already been started for you. This is a chance for children to practise drawing shapes free hand
pg 19 - 22 * Roll n Trace: A partner game - choose a color each, in turns roll die and find the shape to trace in own color. Who has the most shapes in their color at the end?
pg 23 - 27 *Cut n Paste a 'bot: 1 master page for robot to be built on, 2 pages of coloured/textured shapes in various sizes, to choose from and 2 in plain black and white. Children choose sizes and shapes to build their own 'bot
