Identifying Shapes by Properties
K.G.4 Analyze and compare two- and three-dimensional shapes, in different sizes and orientations, using informal language to describe their similarities, differences, parts (e.g., number of sides and vertices/“corners”) and other attributes (e.g., having sides of equal length).
Directions: Make two copies of the cards. Laminate for durability. Student will draw one card. If they are able to identify the shape correctly, they may roll a dice and advance the number of spaces rolled. If answered incorrectly, the child loses their turn.
