This fun, cut and paste, sorting activity for 2D and 3D shapes helps the kids learn to identify and tell the differences between shapes based on their attributes - sides, faces, and vertices.
Great for partner work, independent work, mini-lessons, math center, etc.
Students will create a booklet with pockets inside to hold their shapes. They will write in the attributes for each shape, then cut apart the cards. Last, they will sort them into the pockets based on whether the shape is 2D or 3D.
