**This packet can be used many different ways. There are two separate activities aligned with CCSS 2.G.2. In my own classroom, we used 1 inch cheese crackers (Cheez-Its) to cover our shapes for a little added fun!
These activities can be used as a guided activity, in whole or small groups, as a Math Center, as an intervention activity or with Math Daily 5 as Math With Someone.
** There are questions with each activity that students can answer independently, but these questions would support Math Practice Standard 3 if included in a class or small group discussion. Math Practice Standard 3 states: Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others.
**2.G.2: Partition a rectangle into rows and columns of same size squares and count to find the number of them.
