Students use the coin grids to count money. There are 16 question cards for students to solve. The coins are printed on grid paper to show their value. For example, the nickel is printed on a grid that is 1 x 5; the dime is printed on a grid that is 2 x 5, etc.Students can see the value of each coin by counting the units. You will want to print several copies of the coin pages so all of your students will have enough pieces to solve the included word problems. My students loved using these hands-on grids to solve problems and yours will too! Enjoy.
