Product Description
This file includes an assessment and practice page (for guided instruction, small group) consisting of 20 questions each.

This assessment and practice includes 2 questions on the front where the student must draw lines to a certain length in inches. There are an additional 5 questions where students must measure an object to the closest inch. The graphics are mainly measuring right on the inch.

The second page of the assessment and practice includes 6 multiple choice questions that students must choose the best tool to measure various objects. These include some with word questions and some with pictures. For example: Which tool would be used to measure a basketball? Which tool would be used to measure a shoe?
There is also a multi-select problem (Ex: Choose 3 tools that you would measure in inches).
Finally, there are 4 open response questions. Students are shown a picture and must determine the best tool to measure the object. Then, they determine 3 tools they would NOT use to measure that object and explain why they would not use it.

*Please check out my other assessments/practices on measuring centimeters and meters, estimating measurements and determining differences in length.*
