Product Description
This worksheet covers 2.NBT.1.4, comparing two three-digit numbers based on meanings of the hundreds, tens, and ones digits, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of the comparisons.

I included a little review of how to compare the numbers. This review is intended to be just that - a review. :) It isn't a comprehensive teaching of this strategy.

This worksheet would be perfect to reinforce the strategy after being taught in whole or small group by the teacher. It could also be an effective "next step" for first graders who have mastered 1.NBT.2.3, comparing two two-digit numbers based on tens and ones places, and may do well with a little challenge.
