This interactive activity resembles a game of horseshoes, where students learn basic math in a creative way. Your students will be eager to go to this center because of it's interesting construction. Simply print the game board on card stock, and cut around each pole, bending it forward, which gives it a 3D effect. You can also laminate the individual horseshoes for reuse. There are two sets of addition which includes basic facts to 18 and column addition to 18. There are two sets for subtraction which include basic facts and subtracting with and without regrouping. You can use this either as a center or for small group instruction. This activity will allow you to differentiate instruction. Your students will want to gallop over to this activity.
