Looking for a way to enhance your Engage New York math lessons? These interactive journals are a great way for students to organize and record their thinking, more so than a worksheet allows.
Each lesson taught in the Engage NY module is supported by a critical thinking word problem- allowing students to explain their mathematical thinking, any new vocabulary introduced in that lesson, and an activity for students to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson.
These notebooks reinforce the essential skills learned in each lesson and makes an excellent resource for students to take home with them as notes, and use to help with their homework, or to use as a review for a test.
Students will love being able to personalize their notebooks and create a tool useful for them.
You can use these notebooks daily to go along with each lesson, or pick out the lessons that you think your class needs extra practice with.
This download includes Interactive Notebooks for EACH Module (1-8) of Engage New York math curriculum for 2nd grade.
