This graphing project is a wonderful end of unit activity or assessment for the Math Standard, 2.MD.10, plus it assesses Speaking and Listening Standards!
Not to mention, it allows students to express creativity in their math!
Students will be required to make a survey question and possible responses, record their data, make a graph, write two word problems about their graph, and present their graph to the class.
Example graphs are included for students to use as a resource for making their own.
For early finishers, a "Challenge Page" is included where they must show their data in a different kind of graph.
A rubric (4-1 scale), assessing 2.MD.10, 2.SL.4, and 2.SL.6, is included with super easy grading!
Students can do this project individually or with a partner.
Additional Activity: Use story problems students have made for small group, whole group, or CGI format.
