2nd Grade Literacy Centers for Sping

Need centers for spring?! I have recently updated this unit (3/6/13) to make it more user-friendly! There are over 10 literacy centers, a rainbow craftivity, and spring-themed printables. All centers come in color and B&W with student directions!

- Cause/Effect Center with 8 story cards and 2 recording sheets (color and b/w)

-Making Words Center with student recording sheet and letter cards (color and b/w)

-ABC Order with 15 word cards (color and b/w) and student recording sheet

-Compound Word Center with 12 compound word cards (color and b/w) and student recording sheet

-Verb Tenses with 18 verb cards (color and b/w) and student recording sheet

-Writing Center with 2 story prompts and a 4 page student story booklet

-Spring Rhymes Center with 9 word cards (color and b/w) and 2 student recording sheets

-Preposition Center- students cut to unscramble a sentence and color the prepositions

-Poetry Centers- 2 Poetry frames for students to write on

-Adjective Centers- Spring Bubble Map and 6 picture cards for students to describe with 2 student recording sheets

-A Rainbow Craftivity with patterns and example (using adjectives to describe spring)

-Color By Code: Pronouns and Nouns (sun page)

-Verb Page: Write sentences about each picture using verbs

-Color By Code: color nouns, adjectives, and verbs in different colors
