This is not a lesson, it is a tool designed to be used by 2nd grade students struggling with math.
This was inspired by a product I'd seen used by my 2nd graders. I have included more different math-related items, and removed everything that wasn't math-related. It is also sized to fit a single letter-sized page.
IIRC, if you want the rules to be the correct size, do NOT select "fit to page" when printing.
Counting table to 100
Multiplication table to 100
Addition and Subtraction with regrouping
Days of the week & months
Fractions: 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/8, 1/10, 1/100, 1/1000, with illustrations to 1/10
Standard and metric measurement units
Number line to 30
This working aid is intended for use by students who struggle remembering basic math concepts, or who have difficulty performing basic operations in their head. It is intended as a sort of Swiss Army knife for basic math. It should be useful for most Common Core 2nd grade math standards.
This might not be ideal for students with spatial difficulties in reading, as items are oriented in several directions, text may be a little small for some items, and things are put quite close together. Also, only one method is shown for regrouping. But in terms of topics covered this is a nearly complete working aid for 2nd grade math.
(Yeah, I know the number line is redundant, but there are kids who have trouble with the idea that a ruler could be used as a number line.)
This version is optimized for color printing, but prints okay in grayscale.
