I use math bookmarks in my classroom to hold the child’s place in their math workbook. My students also use them as a tool to help them. I spend time introducing the bookmark and how they can use each part of the book mark. Most of my students have the same one. However, some of my students have different ones depending on their need. They write on the bookmark with a dry erase marker and erase when they’re done!
1. Cut the bookmark out on the lines.
2. Back on colorful construction paper.
I write my students’ names on them after they’ve been laminated with Sharpie. Then they are ready for place markers and math tools – just add a dry erase marker!
