This bundle includes all of my 2nd grade math centers, which is a GROWING collection! As I create these activities throughout the year, I will add them to the bundle. Each activity is designed to be used with dry erase markers. I personally use plastic sleeves or laminate each activity, and my students complete them in pairs during small group. We love these and they're super easy to prepare! You can can preview all of the pages above!
Currently included in the bundle:
*Roll and Build Arrays - This is a super fun way for students to practice using and building arrays! Students can use fun manipulatives for this one like pom-poms or play dough.
*Word Problem Practice - Students use word problem task cards and show their work on a problem solving mat! They can practice solving using a bar model, number line, and writing a number sentence.
*Roll and Compare - Have your students roll 3 dice twice and compare the two 3-digit numbers!
*Roll and Show 3 Ways - This product has students practicing reading and writing three-digit numbers. Students must roll the dice, figure out which 3-digit number goes with what they rolled, and then write it/draw it three different ways. There are three versions of this so your students can get plenty of practice!
*Roll and Solve 3-Digit Addition - This product is perfect for having students practice adding 3-digit numbers! There are two sheets with a blank space for solving, and two sheets with more guidance for how students should solve (turning the numbers into expanded form first). Super engaging and fun to use with dry erase markers!
*3-Digit Subtraction - This product is perfect for practicing 3-digit subtraction! It is designed for students to work with a partner and take turns solving the different subtraction problems. Each problem includes a chart for students to fill out in order to use place value as a guide. One sheet has some regrouping included, and one does not.
*Measure the Room - This product is designed for students to work in pairs to measure different objects in the classroom! The goal is to use their measuring tools to practice measuring to the nearest inch. Such a fun way to keep students engaged during small group and have them use real tools! Perfect for those of you who use flexible seating as well. I've included an extra page which uses "seat" and "table" instead of "chair" and "desk."
*Roll and Tell Time - This is a fun and engaging activity for students to practice telling time on both analog and digital clocks! Students work with a partner to take turns rolling a dice and finding the clock that matches their time. The first partner to get 3 in a row wins! Print front and back, laminate, and use as a math center! All you need are some dice and counters. :)
*Geometry centers- This bundle of activities goes perfectly with your geometry unit! Students will work with a partner to count angles and sides, identify and sort shapes through images, and split shapes into halves, thirds, and fourths. Laminate each activity and use during small group instruction so you only have to make a few copies! All students will need are dry erase markers, the game board, 1 dice, and some counters. You can also laminate the sorting cards so you can hang onto those longer as well.
*Counting Coins - This game is a super engaging way for students to practice counting coins! Designed to be used as a math center, students work in pairs to pick a box on the game board, count the coins in the box, and then check their answer by seeing if there's a card with that same amount. The card then goes in the discard pile and the player puts a counter on the box that they solved. The first kiddo to get 3 in a row wins!
*ALL OF THESE ARE ALSO AVAILABLE INDIVIDUALLY!*
