These math centers are aligned with 2.NBT.1.1 CCSS
There are 3 centers:
Build A Number: Choose a card, build with base 10 blocks, write how many 100's, 10's, 1's (answer sheet included)
Break Down A Number: Choose a card with a picture of base 10 blocks, write the standard form, identify the value of the number in the 100's, 10's and 1's place (answer sheet included)
All About Place Value: Choose a card, decide on the best answer (multiple choice) and (answer sheet included). These questions range in variety and difficulty and are various questions that could be on a end of unit test for NBT.
Each center has task cards, a directions card, and an answer sheet.
I print and cut out the directions card, put it in a snack ziplock bag and then put the cut out cards behind the directions. Each student or pair of students grabs a baggie and an answer sheet and can quickly start working and when finished can easily clean up back into the bag for the next student to use.
