This PowerPoint is a great tool to use at the beginning of the week to introduce the following:
*high frequency words
The graphics, frames, and fonts are very appealing and
student-friendly. Most of the slides will engage your students to use higher order thinking skills and offer opportunities for small group or partner discussions which follow Common Core.
If you would like to view this as a slideshow, please click "view as a slideshow" after you open the zip file on the left side of your screen. (This will avoid you having to open one slide at a time.) Also, be sure and click the "pause" action button after you click "view as a slideshow". This will allow you to take control of the slideshow for you to advance the slides when you are ready.
I will be happy to correct any mistakes you might discover! I do not claim to have nail-scarred hands, but I do value positive comments!! :)
I also have a set of differentiated task cards on prepositions that were created to accompany this story's grammar skills if you are interested!
