Product Description
NOTE: This file is part of a NO FRILLS BUNDLE you might rather buy instead of just a single standard! =)

This no frills practice is designed specifically for 2.G.1:

Recognize and draw shapes having specified attributes, such as a given number of angles or a given number of equal faces. Identify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes.

There are 6 worksheets that deal with shapes:

The first 4 pages are the same exact chart, but with different missing pieces for the students to fill in.

The 5th page is 10 questions about shapes.

The 6th page goes a little beyond the standard. Students must know the difference between 2D & 3D shapes, and recognize a trapezoid, cylinder, square and cone.

Suggestions for use:

*Do one version in class & send the other home for practice

*Print an answer sheet for students to check their own work

*Do one version now and save one for review later in the year

Centers and games are great reinforcement – but sometimes in the crunch, you just need some papers to send home, or to be able to differentiate easily! I’m working on a series of Common Core “No Frills Practice” for 2nd grade. THIS product and the list below are all part of this 2nd GRADE NO FRILLS BUNDLE. Buy it now and re-download it for free as I update it with additional files. =)
