In Cycle 16, students are introduced to /j/ at the end of words spelled "-dge" and "-ge." In addition, students are introduced to /e/ spelled "ei" and /oo/ spelled "eu." Also, students are introduced to the suffixes "-ly" and "-y" and the homophones "threw" and "through."
