You need to make plans quickly for 2s day, but you don't want to waste your time creating everything. It'd be fantastic if you could print and go!
Now you can! I've created four engaging STEM activities! These include simple materials that'll make celebrating two's day easy!
Twos Day activities include:
- Paper Airplane: Students create paper airplanes that must fly at least 22 feet in this activity.
- 22 Drops: This is a science activity where students test different coins to see if they'll hold 22 drops of water.
- Wind-Powered Vehicle: Students create a vehicle powered by wind that travels 22 feet.
- Index Card Challenge: Students use the fewest index cards to reach 22 feet. They have to be careful. They only get 22 index cards MAX!
There are multiple STEM challenges, so that you can use these for February 2, 2022, or February 22, 2022.
Materials Include:
- coins
- droppers
- water
- towels
- paper
- ruler
- scissors
- tape
- paperclips
- measuring tape
- index cards
- tape
- pencils
- straws
- pipe cleaner (chenille stems)
- flake pieces of hard mints for wheels
- window fan
Each activity is hands-on and includes planning pages. These challenges range from 20 minutes to one hour, depending on the difficulty.
