Recently, I've been looking for a way for my students to show they understood what they were reading in their textbook. For us, it's our Science textbook, which has difficult content, but it is important for the kids to understand. For you, it may be a guided reading book, a social studies text, or another passage you have assigned for reading.
Students fill out this sheet with 3 things they learned, 2 interesting facts, and 1 question they have about the topic. The questions have been the most interesting for me to read because it allows me to see how my students are extending their thinking on the topic.
This could be used as just a participation WS, an exit slip, or as a grade (1-2 points per "fact").
How to get TpT credit to use for future purchases:
*Please go to your "My Purchases" page. Beside each purchase, you’ll see a "Provide Feedback" button. Simply click it and you will be taken to a page where you can give a quick rating and leave a short comment for the product. Each time you give feedback on a purchase, TpT gives you feedback credits that you use to lower the cost of your future purchases.
