Students in Grades 4 - 12 LOVE Project-based learning. They also love to experiment with different publishing strategies. These three dimensional letters are perfect for adding a unique look to a project to really set it apart from others. My students used these for their Remembrance Day Projects last year, as well as their Heritage Fair Projects. Try mixing up your traditional "acrostic poem" by asking students to write their traits on these letters! In primary grades, you can print these off on manila tag for durability and use them at calendar time or guided reading for word studies. These can be used to teach area in intermediate Math. The possibilities are endless!
This is a pdf of letters A - Z that can be colored, folded, and glued to create eye-catching letters for many uses in the classroom. Try folding the flaps inwards to avoid the black edge lines
You may use and share them but these cannot be resold for profit in any way, shape, or form. "Punched Out" font was created by Tobias Sommer and can be downloaded to make different-sized letters from http://www.dafont.com/punched-out.font
