I made this 3-D Shapes Matching Floor Game for my class because several students were struggling with remembering the names of the 3-D shapes. Now, this is a popular math tub game during our math rotations, and my students can name the 3-D shapes, read the 3-D shape word, and count the number of faces on each shape. I love that the floor game is large but can be folded up easily to fit in a math tub.
The 8 3-D shapes in the game are: sphere, cone, pyramid, cube, cylinder, rectangular prism, triangular prism, and hexagonal prism.
A cut and paste worksheet is included and can be used to assess students or to give students extra practice.
