Here is a power point presentation featuring 3 D shapes:
cubes, pyramids, spheres, rectangular prism, octagonal prism, hexagonal prism, pentagonal prism, square pyramid, triangular pyramid.
Each shape is displayed with its name, number of faves, number of vetices, and number of edges.
Following the lesson students will engage in an interactive competition. The children will choose 4 teams, then flip through the slides answering questions. If the student correctly answers the question they will earn points for their team. The game continues until all the questions are answered. The team with the most points wins!
