This experiment is simple, great for almost any grade level, and requires almost zero materials!

In this experiment, students will see what happens to the water inside a 2 liter bottle when tape is removed from holes on the side. For younger grades this is great as simply an inquiry/observation experiment, but older grades can discuss gravity, air pressure, normal force, variables, and more. All you need is a 2 liter bottle, some water, and tape!
