Teaching students to structure solid arguments is vital to winning a debate round! However, they must understand the three parts of an argument before building their case.
This activity explains the three parts of an argument (claim, warrant, and impact), compares a weak vs. strong argument, and leaves room for the student to write their own argument (based on a resolution/topic provided by the teacher).
