3 Stars and a Wish

3 Stars and a Wish is a perfect template for reflecting on the year just ended and then making a goal for the new year. This can be used for school goals and for personal goals. Feel free to modify the idea to suit your use.

I have included a page suitable for the new school year and one for the new calendar year.

It is important that the children understand that goal setting requires reflection on what they are doing well and what they need to do to improve. They need to be able to see their talents and their accomplishments. Doing the stars first helps them to focus on this.

When thinking about dreams and wishes, it is important that we not put limitations on what they say or want. We need to help to guide them in the direction of their dream. Dr. Wayne Dyer’s book, No Excuses , is great for teaching this to them.

If you can conceive it and believe it, you can achieve it.
