This is a data sheet and a program description sheet to track student progress on identifying color words receptively. It utilizes the three step prompting system (Tell, Show, Do) which helps maintain consistency between anyone who completes the program with the student.
The program description sheet includes a learning target, staff procedures, a description and examples of the prompting system, mastery criteria (based on a target of approximately 80% accuracy), information on teaching sets, and prompting reminders. The program description sheet is designed so that someone with no special education or discrete trial training (DTT) experience can use the program with high accuracy.
The data sheet contains the learning target and mastery criteria as well as scoring information and a spot to write in the target sets that are being taught. In addition, there is a space to indicate whether the student met criteria for that particular trial and a space for the person collecting the data to initial.
