One of the most important skills for a student to have is the ability to add numbers together. This bundle of task cards provides 96 problems for students to practice addition of three and four digit numbers with and without regrouping. There are also two activity sheets included with each set, for a total of eight activity sheets. These sheets can be used for pre-testing, post-testing, classwork, or homework. Answer keys are also provided.
Each of the task cards has a QR code attached to it to make the activity more engaging and self-checking. Students need only to solve the problem, then scan the code with a QR scanner to reveal the answer. The cards can be used with or without a QR scanner or device.
The cards may be printed on cardstock and laminated. They are designed to be hung around the classroom or learning area for the students to find and answer. They can also be placed on a ring or put in a math center folder. Task cards are an excellent tool for many uses in a math classroom.
A student recording sheet has also been provided with each set. This can be used for a formative or summative assessment.
An answer key has been provided to help with grading the answers if you wish to use this as a formative or summative assessment.
