Most intermediate EFL students absolutely hate writing! They don’t know what to say; they don’t have many ideas; they don’t have a wide vocabulary or much grammar know-how. In short, they look forward to writing tasks about as much as they do a trip to the dentist. I try to find and use activities that are both fun and practical. Here is a collection of 30 activities you can use in your classroom with little preparation, but which will get your students writing while having fun and have great results!
