This 30 Math Journal Word Problems set was designed to give students more practice with thinking through and solving word problems. It asks students to Read, Think, Draw, and Solve. These problems(file) are meant to be projected on a screen, but printable math journal prompts are also included. The problems consist of both addition and subtraction with sums to 20.

Easel Resource

There is an Easel resource available with this packet. Students can view the word problems and solve them in Easel. The word problems are similar to those in the math journal packet but I used different numbers.
