A fun way to engage students using culturally authentic material! This 160 page booklet includes activites to use with 30 Spanish commercials. There are commercials and activities for all levels of Spanish. Some are short and can be used as an introduction; others are more in depth and may be used over several class periods. We have found that the use of these culturally authentic materials in the classroom is very beneficial to our students, and can even be inspirational.
The commercials are listed in alphebetical order by the title of the commercial as it appears on YouTube. There is a cover page for each commercial with a link to the commercial on YouTube. We have noticed that some of the commercials disappear from time to time. However, we have been able to find the same exact commercial posted by another channel by searching for the commercial under its title. If you have trouble at any time, please let us know and we will send you a new link. If we can't find it, we will send you a new commercial link with activities.
The commercials are listed under the categories of Temas culturales, Puntos gramaticales and Vocabulario. If you need something to introduce your unit on Colombia, look for Colombia under Temas culturales. If you want your students to have more practice with the preterite and imperfect, look under el pretérito y el imperfecto under Puntos gramaticales.
We hope you and your students enjoy these activities as much as we and our students do!
