This is a 320 + PDF formatted multisensory resource for upper-level students working to develop comprehension, structural analysis of words and a great word study and sort to support student internalization of the meanings of Latin and Greek roots!

The preview resource is one of the multisensory lessons included in the bundle. Please review it before purchasing to ensure it is what you need.

This resource can be used for an entire school year and includes a pre-test, post-test, model for creating an ELA notebook of roots; and activities for students to do with a partner or independently. Teachers can modify the lesson to fit all student needs, without having to rewrite the resource!

Parents will benefit from providing their child(ren)the opportunity each week, by providing each week one lesson to be completed over a week, days or over the weekend. this resource throughout the school year and will be surprised at how much their child internalizes!

This multisensory 32 Latin and Greek Root Bundle is based on the principles and research of the Orton Gillingham approach, a multisensory, explicit, sequential, and cumulative approach, which incorporates repetition and continual review. It is a PDF document of over 300 pages including answer keys and supplemental blank graphic organizers.

This resource is designed for upper-level students with prior knowledge of basic prefixes and suffixes.

This resource is great as a year-long word study program, useful for in-class support students still developing comprehension skills in all content areas.

Teachers can use this resource as meaningful homework, where students and parents can work together to develop reading skills at home. So many parents want to support their child at home - this is the resource!

Please check the Table of Contents for specific root lessons. The preview file includes one complete root multisensory lesson, along with a lesson on Schwa, and the E Rule. Schwa and the E rule resources are included for students without these skills. Why? Many of the root lessons have words included with the two skills embedded.
