"37 Who Saw Murder Didn't Call the Police" by Martin Gansberg is an article published in The New York Times in 1964. Gansberg discusses the murder of Kitty Genovese. Her attacker stabbed her 3 times on separate occasions as the neighbors heard the commotion and did nothing.
