3D FIGURES AND THEIR NETS MEMORY MATCH GAME

THIS VERSION OF THE GAME IS MORE CHALLENGING, MUST HAVE A WORD/MODEL CARD and A NET CARD OR THEY LOSE THEIR TURN

There are 2 kinds of word/model cards and net cards. To get a match you must match the word or model to the correct net card. If you pull words/models, or 2 net cards, your turn is over (that’s why it’s called memory!)

1. Color the back of your cards so you can’t see through them, and cut them out

2. Shuffle all cards together, place all cards face down in a grid

3. Ro-sham-bo to see who goes first (rock-scissors-paper)

4. First player turns over card, if it is 2 word/model cards or 2 net cards their turn is over. If a word/model card and a net card is turned over, players discuss if they have a match or not. PLAYERS MUST AGREE BEFORE MOVING ON.

5. If they have a match they get to keep the cards and go again. If it is not a match both cards get put back where they were, and it becomes the next players turn.

6. The game is over when all the matches are found, the player with the most matches WINS!!!

3D FIGURES AND THEIR NETS MEMORY MATCH GAME

THIS VERSION OF THE GAME IS A BIT EASIER, PLAYERS PUT CARDS INTO 2 PILES SO THEY ALWAYS GET A WORD/MODEL CARD AND A NET CARD

There are 2 kinds of cards, word/model cards and net cards. To get a match you must match the word/model card to the correct net card

1. Color the back of your cards so you can’t see through them, cut them out and separate into 2 piles: Words/Models and Nets

2. Shuffle, and place all Word/Model cards on the left side of your desk in a grid, and all the net cards on the right side of your desk in a grid (So you should have 2 grids of cards side by side, but separated by a few inches so you can tell the 2 piles apart)

3. Ro-sham-bo to see who goes first (rock-scissors-paper)

7. First player turns over card, if it is 2 word/model cards or 2 net cards their turn is over. If a word/model card and a net card is turned over, players discuss if they have a match or not. PLAYERS MUST AGREE BEFORE MOVING ON.

4. If they have a match they get to keep the cards and go again. If it is not a match both cards get put back where they were, and it becomes the next players turn.

5. The game is over when all the matches are found, the player with the most matches WINS!!!
