This is two activities to help students learn 3D shapes and their attributes. The first activity is a 3D sort that has students cutting, sorting, and matching 3D shapes and their attributes.
This product can be differentiated in several ways:
1. Students can sort all the different types of 3D pictures and attributes on a recording sheet.
2. Students can use the recording sheet that already has the attributes and match the 3D pictures to them,
3. Students can use the recording sheet that has the attributes on it and draw their own 3D models.
The second activity is a 40 card matching game. This product can be used as a concentration game matching different shapes or titles are included to match the shapes to their name. shapes included are: cube, sphere, cylinder, pyramid, and cone.
Both activities would be great in a math center! Or use the matching game for practice and the sort as an independent assessment!
