[Looking for resources for BOTH 3.G.1 and 3.G.2? CLICK HERE to save money by getting the bundle!]

You will also be giving students the opportunity to track their own data on a handy 1/2 page with an 'I Can' Statement of the CCSS - they will be so proud to color in the number correct to show off their learning from pre to post!!

Included in your purchase:

Data tracker: Students will color in the number of questions out of six answered correctly on the pretest. After instruction, they will retake the same test and record the number of questions out of six answered correctly to see their growth!

Pre/Post Test: Give pretest before you introduce the concept. Have your student(s) record the number correct on their tracking page. Once you have given student instruction and practice, give the test again to see their improvements! Have student(s) record the number correct on their tracking page.

Geometry Booklet: Print copies for each student. This booklet is a great anchor for your students to record their learning of polygons as you teach about them.

Cut & Paste Activity: Students will cut out the names, pictures, and definitions of common polygons. Then, they will arrange and glue them on their answer page.

Polygon Sort: Students will cut apart the cards and sort them into as many different ways as they can. Then, they will name the shapes in the sort and the attributes they have in common.

Quadrilaterals Worksheet: Students will learn the attributes that classify a shape as a quadrilateral. Then, they will determine whether or not different shapes are quadrilaterals.

Drawing Polygons: Students will draw polygons when given a set of attributes on this worksheet.

Attributes: Students will describe attributes of given shapes on this worksheet.

The Many Names of a Square: Students will complete three Venn Diagrams to describe the similarities and differences between a square and a rhombus, rectangle, and parallelogram.
