Broaden children’s perception of length as the only linear measure, and include width, height, depth, thickness, perimeter, circumference, radius, diameter, distance and girth as examples of linear measures. Involve children in decision-making and problem-solving and estimating linear measures in the appropriate units
There are two parts to this math resource.

The second part is a two page activity guide which provides you with questions to ask, things to think about, experiences to build on, organizational points, assessment observations, materials needed, things to do, activities and ideas for classes.
