This interactive math activity allows students to design their own worksheet to practice representing multiplication facts while better understanding concept of the commutative property.
The activity requires dominoes (which an be found at your local Dollar Tree), and can be played multiple times with different results every time!
Students will pick one domino, then create a multiplication number sentence using the two numbers on their domino as their factors.
Then students will flip their multiplication sentence using the commutative property. Lastly, students will be asked to find two different ways to represent each multiplication sentence to show the commutative property.
