Use these printables to create fluency folders for your targeted students in order to keep track of progress during the school year. The numbers presented on the charts were taken from the information and norms provided in DIBELS 6th edition for oral reading fluency norms.
This is a quick and great way to monitor progress of students that have a weakness in oral reading fluency. Each administration takes fewer than 2 minutes from start to finish and can serve as hard evidence of the student's growth over the course of the school year.
In the past, I have used this with a group of targeted students and saw great improvements throughout the year in regard to oral reading fluency and even comprehension. I hope that you find that this exercise will move your at-risk readers to low-risk readers in no time!
