In these lesson plans, students get a message from space. But there's no punctuation!! Students have to edit writing, so they can understand a message sent from astronauts.
Over the course of several lessons, they have a chance to:
**Edit messages sent from space.
**Plan/Organize their writing
**Use transition words and descriptive words, for more detailed writing.
**Edit a message sent in multiple parts, then put the message in the correct order.
**Write a message to Mission Control
**Receive a Thank you Letter and Junior Astronaut badge from NASA.
