### Description

This is a fun and engaging escape game that is perfect for the month of December and during the Christmas holiday season! Provided in both a printable and digital format, you are sure to have a version that works best for your students. The digital version is played on Google Slides. Breakout and escape rooms are the perfect way to have your students work together to solve puzzles and clues. Use this game in person or virtually.

Your class is trying to escape a snowed in North Pole and save Christmas! Santa has lost some of his gifts. He must find them and get out of the North Pole, before Christmas is ruined. Can your students solve all the puzzles and escape the snowed in North Pole? As students complete each puzzle, they are to color the coordinating gift they find. This is a fun game where students work together and review key math standards.

Students will review multiplication and division facts. They will review finding the unknow factor. They will review word problems with multiplication or division.

When the gifts are all found, they will be just about finished with the game. The last thing students will do is find the congratulations page to escape. The page is hidden near anything red in your classroom.

Escape rooms are a great way to get students working together, solving problems, practicing skills, and having fun. This Christmas breakout game leads students through different puzzles to help them review key standards from the Common Core. This game is most engaging when played in groups, however, it can be played individually as well. The set up for the printable version is quick and takes just a few moments.

Supplies your students will need to play the printable game:

•Pencil

•Scissors

•Glue or glue stick

Markers or crayons

• File folders (4 per group)

This escape room can be used with iPads, chrome books, laptops, and desktops as long as your students have access to Google Drive or Classroom on a device. The escape room is on Google Slides , with two links to Wheel of Names.
