What educators are saying

This is a great tool for encouraging a growth mindset! I loved having students set goals and track progress visually with the graphs. It was very encouraging.

3rd Grade Common Core Math Assessments

Digital and Print versions both available.

This packet includes 2 assessments aligned for EVERY 3rd grade Common Core Math Standard.

These assessments can be used as pre- and post-tests to show student growth. They can also be used as alternate or extra assessments.

There are five questions on each test. They were created to reach the higher levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. The fifth question of each test incorporates writing to explain their thinking. An answer key is included at the end of the tests!

    Student Data Graphing

Students using data to jump start their own learning!

This product is used to graph and track student learning for ALL Common Core 3rd grade math domains. The graphs are set up with Pre-test and Post-test scores right next to each other; so students can easily see their own growth.

There is also an easy to use "I Can" statements page for students to write down their learning targets. This "I Can" page has been set up to work with every standard taught. There are also specific I Can pages.

These graphs were designed to go along with my 3rd Grade Common Core Math Assessments!

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Use place value understanding to round whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100.
Interpret products of whole numbers, e.g., interpret 5 × 7 as the total number of objects in 5 groups of 7 objects each. For example, describe a context in which a total number of objects can be expressed as 5 × 7.
Understand a fraction 1/𝘣 as the quantity formed by 1 part when a whole is partitioned into 𝘣 equal parts; understand a fraction 𝘢/𝑏 as the quantity formed by 𝘢 parts of size 1/𝘣.
Understand that shapes in different categories (e.g., rhombuses, rectangles, and others) may share attributes (e.g., having four sides), and that the shared attributes can define a larger category (e.g., quadrilaterals). Recognize rhombuses, rectangles, and squares as examples of quadrilaterals, and draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not belong to any of these subcategories.
