Product Description
This 15 page printable is a great addition to your math centers.

"Old Math Maid" is played like the typical old maid game, but this has a math twist.
Students divide up the cards and match them based on coins.
(Pictures of coins, coin amounts written with dollar/cent sign, dollar/cents signs with clipart on sale tags, and amounts written with dollar sign and decimal point).

Directions and labels for storage are included.

This matches the new 2014 3rd TEKS 4C.

Common Core does not have standards with money for 3rd grade. 2nd grade CCSS 2.MD.C.7 - "counting coins up to $1.00". There is no CC money standard for 3rd or 4th grade. This game involves counting larger dollar bills and also coins which is more advanced than the 2nd grade requirements. So this game will be good for 3rd graders (more advanced 2nd grade or review in 4th grade).
