Do you use Evan Moor Daily Language Review? If so this is the visual component you have been looking for.
This daily language practice is based on the 3rd grade Evan Moor book (EMC 581). The PowerPoint is interactive, showing first the question, then if appropriate a visual for added support and finally the answer. I teach ELL students so I found that this additional support really helps them understand the concepts. I use this activity first thing in the morning with my students. They do the workbook worksheet for bell work and then we review the answers using the PowerPoint. They are engaged and love coming up to the board to "show what they know".
This could also be used as a self checking tool on computers during centers depending on your classroom technology.
